Klassy Keys Lessons Policy - Effective October 1, 2015
Klassy Keys Music is devoted to making music both educational and fun. In order for a student to make progress and advance, LESSON CONSISTENCY IS A MUST! It is for this reason that the following policy was prepared.
LESSONS: All instruction is private. Lessons are 30 minutes in length, once each week. If there are five weeks within a given pay period, there will be no additional lesson. Each student will receive four lessons or the equivalent of, per pay period.
IN STUDIO: For your convenience and comfort there is a waiting room where parents and friends may relax while the student is taking a lesson. Klassy Keys appreciates it when a customer is on time. In some instances, Klassy Keys doors may not open until the exact time of the scheduled appointment.
ON LINE: Not local to Clarksville, TN? Are you a former student looking for an opportunity to pick it up again? On line saves time and expense and can be very productive. Since 2012 Klassy Keys Music has been conducting lessons online via Skype. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations will be accepted up to one hour before the scheduled lesson time. When possible, 24 hour notification will be appreciated, as this allows Klassy Keys to utilize time wisely. Cancellations can be made in person, through the use of telephone, voicemail, texting or email.
MAKE-UP LESSONS: Lessons that are cancelled can be rescheduled and made up either by having
- the lesson on another day of the same week
- a longer lesson during another week
- two lessons during a different week.
CUSTOMERS WHO CANCEL AND ARE UNWILLING TO MAKE UP THE LESSON OR LESSONS WILL FORFEIT BOTH TIME AND MONEY. Customers Who Routinely Cancel Will Forfeit Both Time And Money.
MISSED LESSONS: Lessons are considered missed when the student is not present at the time of the lesson and NO PRIOR NOTIFICATION has been made to Klassy Keys, either in person, by phone, voicemail, texting or email. . BOTH TIME AND MONEY ARE FORFEITED IF THIS IS TRUE.
FEES: All fees are collected in advance of the scheduled lessons. The following rates now apply, including discounts for customers desiring multiple student or instruments.
1 Student / 1 Instrument / $80.00 per month
2 Students / 2 Instruments or 1 Student 1 hour per week / $150.00 per month
3Students /3 Instruments or any combination involving 1 ½ hours per week / $220.00 per month
If over 3 students, an additional / $70.00 each per student
DISCOUNTED RATES APPLY TO IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS ONLY
PAY PERIOD: Pay period is determined by the week of the month the customer starts taking lessons. For example, if the customer starts lessons on the third week of the month - payment will be due on the third week of each following month.
CANCELED LESSONS OR CHANGES IN DAY OF THE WEEK LESSON IS TO BE TAKEN DO NOT ALTER PAYMENT DUE DATE. Payment due date equals the week of the month student began lessons and the current day of the week lesson is scheduled. Payment can be made in person or through the mail to the following address:

REGISTRATION: A customer must sign up and pay all due fees no later than 24 hours before the first lesson is due to begin. This may be done either in person, or by mail or by telephone.
Learning to play a musical instrument can be rewarding and yet it also may present a challenge at times. Students who work hard and endeavor to excel will be rewarded. (This may include being in Honor Group - Student of the Month – and/or any other special attentions.)
RECITALS: Recitals provide an excellent opportunity to observe the talents of other students. They are also fun and a good motivating factor for the student to excel. Participation is encouraged, but not mandatory.
COMMENTS: COMMUNICATION IS THE LIFELINE OF ANY RELATIONSHIP, CUSTOMERS PAYING ON TIME AND KEEPING GOOD COMMUNICATION WITH KLASSY KEYS WILL BE REWARDED. (This may include gift certificates and various special "Good Customer" awards.)
